About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced, ambitious Full-Stack Developer passionate about tackling complex problems in big data and graph algorithms? Falkor is looking for a driven engineer to play a key role in advancing our cutting-edge data fusion and case management platform for analysts and investigators worldwide.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable and performant frontend and backend systems that power Falkor's platform.
- Work with Node.js and TypeScript to create robust backend systems and APIs.
- Build modern and intuitive user interfaces with React or Vue to optimize the user experience.
- Apply your understanding of production-grade systems and web product architecture to contribute to a resilient platform.
- Collaborate with a proactive team of developers to drive impactful changes for our team, product, and customers.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- Professional Expertise: 3+ years in full-stack development with hands-on experience in both frontend and backend technologies.
- Tech Stack Knowledge: Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript (3+ years preferred). Familiarity with React or Vue frameworks.
- Elastic Search: Experience working with Elasticsearch and other indexing tools.
- Graph Database: Experience with graph databases (advantageous).
- Performance Optimization: Ability to use the right tools and approaches to ensure high performance and UX.
- Proactive Mindset: An independent, fast learner who is enthusiastic about exploring new technologies and solving challenging problems.
- Leadership: Strong problem-solving skills, with a talent for transforming business challenges into actionable technical plans and executing them effectively.
- Code Quality: Dedication to clean code, TDD, and best practices in development.
Bonus Skills
- AI & NLP: Familiarity with artificial intelligence and natural language processing.
- Graph Databases: Knowledge of graph database systems.
- ELK Stack: Exposure to Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
