About the Role
As a Senior QA Engineer with us, you will be responsible for:
- Testing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the highest quality of our products.
- Automated Testing: Design and maintain automated test suites that cover functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Manual Testing: Perform rigorous manual testing to identify defects and ensure flawless user experiences.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.
- Bug Tracking: Manage bug tracking and resolution processes, ensuring that all issues are properly documented and resolved.
- Quality Advocate: Promote best practices in quality assurance and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Your Experience and Skills
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience in software testing, focusing on manual and automated testing.
- Automation Expertise: Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in programming languages like Python and JavaScript for test automation.
- CI/CD Familiarity: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Attention to Detail: An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Documentation: Strong skills in creating detailed and clear test documentation and reports.
Nice to Have
- Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Security Testing: Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
- Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
